GIMP 3.0 Released
Ever since I started using Linux in 2014, the only reason I kept returning to Windows on and off was the lack of real alternatives to Photoshop and FastStone Image Viewer (and realistically, there still isn’t one for the latter).
At long last, GIMP 3.0 RC1 has been released! Personally, I will wait for a stable release, as I rarely need its full functionality at this point in time, being somewhat busy with my day-to-day burdens. However, I will happily use it in the future when I start properly maintaining this site.
As of today, I have been running Linux as my only OS for several months already, and even though I am using a slightly busy distro, it’s always refreshing not to see all that Windows bloatware (not to mention the atrocious Windows 11 experience - a totally unusable OS for me).
