I’m Andrew, a photography enthusiast living in the beautiful city of Calgary, and this is the place where I write about any random things that catch my attention for long enough.

I started this photoblog for myself and a few friends who share my values and passions, as an escape from the noise of social media… my personal online diary, in a way. And, truth be told, I simply enjoy tinkering with boring stuff, such as this site.

Here, I can share my thoughts on books, movies, photogear, tech, anything really. So it’s not only a good way for me to socialize in a very relaxed way and practice both my writing and my English skills, but also motivates me to explore this wonderful world around us more actively.

When it comes to photogear, I simply use whatever camera feels right in the moment, focusing on capturing experiences rather than striving for perfection.

All my black-and-white images are shot on negative film, while my color photos are captured digitally using various cameras and lenses.
